Practice makes perfection, and it helps a lot. I use a different technique on making hair realistic, like many strokes with my paint brush tool and using different color schemes. Still looks cartoony, but I'm getting there xD
Other than that, you're actually improving a lot, and I give ya' two thumbs up
All I do is use the same flat colour the hair is originally in, make a new layer but for 'luminocity' then go over the same area in the same colour over and over and over again, saves a shit ton of time!
holy freakin mother of aaaAAAAaaa !!! Mushy I just cannot for my life express hOW MUCH I LOVE THIS just holy geez this is so gosh darn beautiful!! I didnt expect so much awesomeness in a single badge but holy wow yoU SUCCEEDED <33333 the part in Beulah's hair is genius ;D lovin' the scarf too!! 8D oh my word, thank you SOOOO much <333 I appreciate this beyond words! so amazing <333 oh, and its a super small detail, but there's a sliver of tan that goes under her eye that you forgot ^-^ or is it because her eye is sort of squinty that its not there? I'm not sure, sorry for the confusion x)
Whoops! Nope I did forget that, sorry! I will update that small oversight tomorrow and then send you both the hi-res and lo-res files. I think that I was so zoned out trying to get the hair and fur details looking right that it must've slipped past me without me noticing. -facedesk- Sorry about that! But I'm happy you like it! Was really fun to work on, and again I'm so sorry it took so long to get finished!
No, its definitely alright! I understand how easy it is to miss small details on things when you're tired XD for me is mostly when I do homework XD And I love it so, so much! It was worth the wait! 8D Thanks for taking my commission!
